Valentine's Day Rant

Rant time!!

It has been quite a while since I last ranted so this is overdue. I have been seeing a lot of bloggers and business pages on Facebook asking what their followers dream Valentine's Day gifts are and it seems the majority of answers come from women who feel they are the only one in their relationship to be celebrated. This is a rant for them.

Ok seriously women, you are no more entitled than your partner so why is it on Valentine's Day you think your significant other should bring you breakfast in bed, clean the house, do all of the chores and take care of the kids while you sleep in, have long baths and "relax". I didn't realize it was "Turn Your Partner Into a Slave Day". How about you *both* do these things together or *don't* do the unnecessary things at all. Valentine's Day is about celebrating your love for one another *TOGETHER*, not cracking the whip at your loved one while acting like a self entitled, pampered bleep bleep bleep all day. Get over yourselves!
